  • What is the true value of public speaking?

Posted by Jef Menguin on August 5, 2024 at 6:41 am

When I speak, my dream is for everyone to find value in my words. I craft my speech with their dreams and aspirations in mind. My goal isn’t just to show them how to achieve their desires. I also want to reveal something new to them.

Many of us stop dreaming because we see our dreams as impossible. But I’ve learned that many “impossibilities” are realities somewhere else. This insight comes from traveling and meeting diverse people.

I speak to help turn their impossibilities into possibilities. I want to show them that the future they dream of is already here. Often, this is enough to inspire them to take the first step.

When my audience takes that first step, I consider my speech a success. It’s about showing them a new perspective and encouraging action. The real magic happens when they believe and start moving toward their dreams.

My mission is to ignite that spark and see them transform their lives. This, for me, is the true value of speaking.
